Canadian Royal Heritage Society (Friends of the CRHT)
The Canadian Royal Heritage Trust is a national
educational charity dedicated to preserving, presenting and enhancing the
royal heritage of Canada. The Trust is the countrys leading
organisation working to expand Canadians knowledge of the
Crown, and is available to assist students, academics, the media
and the general public.
As a Friend of the Canadian Royal Heritage Trust
you make it possible for the Trust to carry out its charitable
activities. A Friend does not pay a membership fee, but makes
a donation of $10 or more to the Trust, which is tax-deductible.
There are four categories of Friends:
Supporter ($10 or more), Associate ($100
or more), Benefactor ($500 or more) Patron ($1000 or more). The
Trusts registration number if #1020783-50.
As a Friend of the
Canadian Royal Heritage Trust, in addition to helping preserve
the royal heritage of Canada, you will receive newsletters with
reports on the activities of the Trust and news about Canadas
royal heritage, and you will be kept informed of special events
held by the Trust, which you will be able to attend.
Friends of the Trust (donors and volunteers) are organised into branches of The Canadian Royal Heritage Society. These branches are British Columbia, Alberta, Prairies & Northwestern Ontario, Southwestern Ontario, Midwestern Ontario, Greater Toronto - Hamilton Area, Quinte Region, Greater Ottawa – Gatineau Area, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada. Branches hold lectures, social events and community activities, in addition to supporting the museum / galleries, library, history and education work in their areas.
